Thirsty?
So today I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite easy summer drinks!
Lavender Water
So simple, in a gallon pitcher, filled 2/3 with cold water add 1 washed and sliced lemon, and about 10 sprigs of lavender. I pick mine fresh from the garden. Leave over night in the fridge. This makes a very delicately flavored drink, add a splash of simple syrup for sweetness if desired and a squeeze of lemon in each glass, and it becomes more like a floral lemonade. Made with seltzer it can be even more amazing.
Orange berry spritzer
In a shaker add 1 orange cut into wedegs 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup of frozen mixed berries and 1 cup of water. Shake for a few seconds. The Berries should not be broken or busted, if shaken while frozen. I then let it sit in the fridge for a few hours. Pour mixture into glasses top with ice and pour sparkling water over the top. The fruit should rise with the ice, so it won't clog a straw to much, I prefer to sip this without one though. This is also great mixed with instead of sparking water.
I hope you like these simple drinks as much as I do!
Happy Thirsty Thursday y'all!! Drink up!
